Each topic comes with basic theory, practical exercises and analysis tasks to see how it all works in pieces of music. There will be some time at the end for Q&A and/or analysis of pieces you can submit.
Hi, I'm Daniel!
I have spent nearly a decade studying guitar and harmony through the university system, culminating with my Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
The training one receives in the university system on harmony is irrelevant, boring and unpractical.
That is a bold statement I know.
But I have been there and experienced it first hand.
Rather than spending a decade like I have, you can spend two hours with me and learn the most pivotal revelations that have benefited me the most.
Reaching your musical goals can be accomplished so much quicker if you understand and apply the 4 KEY PILLARS OF HARMONY which I am going to teach you.
Knowing that guitar music is founded on chords is the secret to learning pieces faster.
Practicing harmony enables you to:
• Understand the purpose and function of every note
• Greatly improve your knowledge of the fretboard
• Gain powerful tools for composition and improvisation
