Due to public health concerns, live events have been cancelled all across the world.

In fact, the entire 2020 concert season for the Melbourne Guitar Festival is now shut down.

The Melbourne Guitar Festival is my only income, as my wife Amy is not working due to our 7 month old baby.

Our year has been thrown into financial disarray.

Many artists and event organisers will now be out of work for an unknown period of time.

If you wish to purchase a ticket to view the livestream of this concert, please know that you will be greatly helping support the artists involved and also my work with the Melbourne Guitar Festival.

Thank you for your support and understanding during these difficult times.

All proceeds will be split 50:50 between the artists and the Melbourne Guitar Festival.

Australian musician Dr. Daniel Nistico is widely regarded as one of the most exciting and talented guitarists to come from Australia.

“a world class artist who plays at the highest levels of instrumental virtuosity” (Nicholas Goluses, Eastman School of Music).

Growing up in Melbourne, Daniel is well known in Australian guitar circles. Not only as a gifted and virtuosic performer, but also as an educator. Daniel has authored and published several books relating to guitar technique, and how understanding harmony empowers musical interpretation and performance.

Daniel has a keen interest in the performance practice of 18th and 19th century guitar music, and strives to promote guitar music that has not had the fortune of being widely performed.

This concert will feature guitar favourites by Albeniz, Bach, Sor and Barrios, plus lesser known hidden gems in the guitar repertorie including works by Frederic Rung and Leonard Schultz!

This concert will be 60mins without intermission.
